Hajin Map Locations in MW4 DMZ
Hajin locations come in three tiers: 13 major points of interest, the named areas inside them, and more than 60 named places across the exclusion zone. This page lists every Hajin location Activision has named so far, with its threat level, side of the old border and approximate grid cell.
Former North Korea: the wild west of Hajin
The three North Korean POIs sit west of the Hajin River in forests and farmland. Two of them are among the most dangerous places on the map, so new players usually start in Deadtown instead.
14th Political Prison
A walled detention complex on a cleared plateau in the North Korean wilderness, with watchtowers on every corner and a Y-shaped fortress called the Citadel in the middle of the yard.
Chang-san Air Base
A fortified North Korean air base cut into a granite hillside, with a runway, helipad, hospital and barracks on the surface and an Extreme-threat bunker network underneath.
Deadtown
An emptied North Korean farm town taken over by the military, with two Re-Education Centers in the middle, a sewer network underneath and rivers on its northwest and east sides.
Former South Korea: villages, wilderness and Hajin City
Ten POIs lie on the South Korean side, from the border village of Cheongun in the north to Hajin City in the southeast, where four of them sit and Hajin River Heights borders it to the south. Threat ranges from the Low-threat hospital and wharf to the Extreme twin towers inside The Grid.
Imjin Farmland
Flat, open rice fields on the southwestern edge of the map, crossed by waterways, roads and rail lines that meet at a huge Rice Mill. The official example for the Tac-Map grid: D7.
Cheongun Village
A border village on the Hajin River with checkpoints into Russia on both sides and a once-lavish casino, the Heavenly Luck, whose dark gambling floors are High threat.
Mirae General Hospital
Hajin’s main hospital, a large multi-level building with triage tents outside and colour-coded wards inside, next to a train station and only Low threat.
Cheonwang Peak Array
The biggest telecom array in Hajin, a DBN TV station on a flat summit that the enemy has turned into a barracks, with a rooftop helipad and long views in every direction.
Haneul Nuclear Reactor
A breached nuclear plant on the northeast coast. The reactor is High threat and covered by a radioactive cloud: you need radiation protection and a gas mask to survive inside.
NuriGO Mall
A shopping district north of the Hajin skyscrapers with City Hall, a police station, a monorail station and a huge dark underground mall that needs night vision.
The Grid
The walled-off business district at the heart of Hajin City. Every named block is Critical and the Nenshin Tech Complex twin towers are Extreme, the most dangerous rating in DMZ.
Songdo Wharf
A Low-threat waterfront district on the East Sea between the nuclear plant and the south fork of the Hajin River, with a market, a pier, a lighthouse and the La Grande Vie tower.
Wolves Stadium
A ruined baseball stadium south of The Grid, with an abandoned open-air theatre to the north, a police station and narrow shopping streets around it. Medium threat.
Hajin River Heights
A battered residential district of apartments and narrow shopping streets south of Wolves Stadium, bounded by the south fork of the Hajin River and home to Compound Echo.
How threat levels work
Each area has an expected threat before you fire a shot. The rating shows under your compass as you enter, and it climbs if the enemy notices you: more soldiers, better-armored soldiers and reinforcements. Breaking contact and taking cover brings it back down. Rival players are not counted in the rating. The five levels, lowest to highest, are Low, Medium, High, Critical and Extreme.
