What to expect at 14th Political Prison
The prison sits on a huge deforested plateau surrounded by conifer woods, small shacks and farming hamlets. A polluted river runs along its west side, the main gate and checkpoint face south, the barracks are on the east side, and construction work was already under way on the eastern edge of the base when the area fell.
The Citadel is the reason to come here and the reason squads get wiped. It is a maze of gantries, walkways, repatriation chambers, a large furnace room and stacked cell blocks, and the official guide warns that operators who go in without a plan get isolated and surrounded. Its threat level is Critical, one step above the High rating of the yard and outer prison.
The official "Jail Break" recon story is set here: a squad clears fifteen hostiles in the outer prison before breaching the Citadel, a helicopter brings reinforcements once the alarm sounds, and enemy armor closes in from the east during the exfil. Expect the same escalation if you go in loud.
14th Political Prison tips
- Approach from the woods to the west and clear the watchtowers first; the yard is open ground.
- Treat the Citadel as its own deployment goal: bring plates, a squad and an exit route before you breach.
- Shooting a reinforcement helicopter down is possible with a launcher, as the official story shows.
